Improv-uuhhhh-sation: Helping Students Navigate Their First Experience with Tonal and Rhythm Pattern Improvisation
WORKSHOP SUMMARY:
Even with a good deal of tonal and rhythm pattern study, students sometimes have trouble adjusting to producing their own patterns. In this workshop, we will explore ways to help students meet their first experiences with tonal and rhythm pattern improvisation with success, and the role that success plays in future improvisation.
This workshop is FREE to all GIML Members. Non-members are welcome to attend for $25.00. If you are not a member of the organization, a representative from GIML will reach out with payment details following registration.
