MA-GIML Presents “Tiny Music:” A Workshop with Paola Anselmi

This hands-on, practical workshop with Paola Anselmi will feature new songs and original child-centered, playful activities to engage young children in musical-social activities.

Paola Anselmi is a teacher, program administrator, author, and teacher trainer. She studied early childood music education with E. Gordon and B. Bolton in USA and Spain and with Giovanni Piazza in Italy.  She is also on the teaching faculty of Orff Schulwerk Italiano. She has dedicated her work to serving as: a music educator for children; founder and coordinator of the international project  Musica in Culla in Italy and Spain, as well as a teacher trainer and presenter in conservatories, hospitals, universities, public and private institutions in Italy, Spain, Palestine, Greece, Cyprus, Germany and Israel.  She has taught in Lugano (Switerland) Conservatory and University for 5 years and is in ongoing collaboration with Madrid Center ‘Afinarte’ Music and Dance School.   Paola’s work focuses on the task of transforming the importance of music in a child’s life and development into reality in children’s lives.
