Teach-a-Tune Series

The GIML Media and Communications commission is proud to present the newest video in the Teach-a-Tune series! Each month, we will have one GIML member share a video of themself teaching a tune in a (hopefully) fun tonality and/or meter. The presenter will share their tune, and then teach it to us and provide us with musicking opportunities.

This month's presenter is Natasha Sigmund. She shares her song "Listen to the Wind." Listen, move, audiate, and improvise with Natasha!

If you would like to share a tune in future months, please email Andy Mullen from the Media Commission (media@giml.org).

Donate to GIML

Donation Matching Campaign

We are excited to announce a new matching campaign that will help GIML enhance our online teaching tools and materials. Through a generous donation from Pam Gordon Bunte (daughter of Edwin Gordon), we will be matching all donations to GIML dollar for dollar up to $1,000 total, from now until December 31st. All funds will be used to create professionally edited recordings of music learning theory-focused teaching and online professional development materials, which will then be provided to GIML members at no cost via our new website. This project will allow us to create a robust collection of materials for all GIML members to enjoy!

In case you missed it last month.....
